Hi,

I double-checked (got the same problem again; cygwin patch is making the files read-only I think...). The destination is *not* read-only in windows explorer. (Although cygwin ls -l seems to think it is).
It's just the source which got to be read-only.

But... I looked at the temp. *copies* and they were not marked as read-only!

About the first thing I checked, I think. Or am I really confused now?

Remember, any file copied from a CD-ROM is read-only, and stays that way
until set otherwise. This has bitten me more than once on Windows boxen.
