I think (someone jump in here if I'm wrong) that there are no
repository-configurations. The auto-props (and other configuration items)
are set by clients, not the repository. The /etc/subversion you mentioned (I
think) is a configuration for all *clients* on the system, not all
repositories.

That's the way I understand it, I could be wrong.
