diff problem after branch

I am probably missing something here, but I have not been able to make this
work.

The following path existed in the repository:

svn/repos/Branch1/Main/src/Server/login.cpp

After this change was made, Branch2 was created from Branch1 resulting in:

svn/repos/Branch2/Main/src/Server/login.cpp

The problem is that I can not diff the file named login.cpp in Branch1
against login.cpp in Branch2. Is this not possible?

ENVIRONMENT:
RedHat 9
SVN 0.36.0
Apache 2.0.48
