Support OpenOffice.Org format

Hi!

I am CVS user starting considering your project with big interest !...and
may subscribe to the list soon.

We are facing a big issue with managing in configuration our OpenOffice
documents. (This is mandatory in our buziness)
We started using the FlatXML format of OOo in order to get benefits of CVS
text mode.
With a loginfo and a commitinfo, I can have a pretty good solution to have
nice CVS features
like diff, automatic merge, keywords on documents,...
But OpenOffice.org development team does not plan to support the FlatXML
format in the future.

I read that Subversion manage binary much better than CVS do. Do you have
experience in managing the
zip/subdir structure of OpenOffice.file ?
Is it possible with Subversion to run a trigger on an update call, not just
commit ?
Can Subversion manage a revision on the OpenOffice (zipped) directory of a
document.
Do you handle XML tags better than the line oriented CVS ?
