temporary goodbye from a new devotee

Our company came very close to purchasing Visual Source Safe and/or
something similar from the makers of Source Safe Offsite.

Fortunately, since we were cheap and my boss was a devotee of
open source, when I had trouble getting CVS to work, we found
Subversion and TortoiseSVN.

Although we've had a few hiccups and mysteries, we've been lucky
to have found such a great tool and such hard-working developers
and responsive users.

Thank you for to the developers for building such excellent development tools. Thank you to the users for being so responsive on
these lists.

I will certainly spread the word at my next job. I may not use it much in the near future; but, I'm likely to have plenty of time to
contribute bug-fixes and improvements.
