The checksum indicates that you had r7959. The corrupted file is the
same size as the r7959 original but part of it has been overwritten.
The corrupt data contains some readable strings, namely:

   MinWanEndpoints
   InfPath
   EnableForOutboundRouting
   MaxWanEndpoints
   WanEndpoints
   Characteristics
   ComponentIdj
   InfSection
   ProviderName
   DriverVersion1
   DriverDateData
   DriverDate
   DriverDesc
   MatchingDeviceId
   EnableForRask

Google tells me that those are likely to be related to Windows
registry settings.
