PROPFIND of '/svn/repos': 500 Internal Server Error

Hi All,

I am very newbie to SVN, so beware :). I have some ClearCase
experience, as a user and as admin. However, this is 2 yrs ago...
Anyway, here is my issue:

I searched the archive but could not find an answer.. I run a SVN
server via Apache WebDAV on a Debian Linux box. I connect to it on a
MacOS X client. This is my setup:

Server:
- Debian Linux Unstable
- Kernel 2.2.20-idepci
- Apache 2.0.48-4
- Subversion 0.33.0-1

Client:
- MacOS X 10.3.2 "Panther"
- Subversion 0.36.0

I get the following error when trying to update my working copy:
gandalf:~/svn/repos bliekp$ svn up .
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/prive'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svn/repos': 500 Internal Server Error
(http://192.168.1.10:8088)

(192.168.1.10 is my Server)

Anyone any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Should I downgrade the client? There is nog higher version of SVN
available for Debian right now unfortunately, and building it from
source involves building Apache as well etc... Quite a pain, so I'd
love to avoid it... So if anyone knows why this is happening to me,
please reply.

Best regards,
Pim Bliek
