checkout failure on .36

Hi, I am using .36 on a linux server and the latest .36 client for windows.
I get the following when i try to checkout on windows.

svn list seems to work ok:

Further the checkout works fine on the linux box (via HTTP: svn co 
http://mayra/repos/trunk/deployment-tools)
I am seeing the follwing error in the Apache error log along with the windows 
client failure:
[error] [client ...] This report can only be run against a VCC [409, #0]
Any ideas?
