Experiences migrating from VSS

I'm currently in the process of attempting to get my company from VSS (yeah, I know) to SVN, especially with the progress of late. I was hoping somebody could share your experiences migrating VSS to SVN and which tools/scripts you used.
 
VCP seems to be the most recent and I'm hoping this ( http://www.contactor.se/~dast/svn/archive-2003-07/1158.shtml) is still on the radar, but I read about somebody going from VSS to CVS then to SVN, but it seems a round about way to go.
