"The VCC property was not found on the resource" using URL rewriting

Hello,

Our Apache webserver with Subversion is behind a firewall. We use IIS with URL Rewriting (using the proxy functionality of the ISAPI_Rewrite product) to redirect incoming Subversion requests from the Internet to the Apache webserver. Within our LAN Subversion works perfectly, and we can also log on to and browse through the Subversion database from Internet using a webbrowser. But when I use a client (TortoiseSVN or RapidSVN) I get the message "The VCC property was not found on the resource" on every command I try.

Does anyone has an idea what could be the cause of this problem? Could it be related to the ISAPI_Rewrite product we use or does it has something to do with the fact that the Subversion application is actually on another URL than the client connects to?

Many thanks,

Maarten.
