RE: Quartered repository size from 0.33.1 to 0.35.1

Hiya,

Did you, with your old repositories, clean out logfiles frequently? With the
new version, logfiles are automatically removed when they are no longer
used. That could account for a lot of the size-reduction. As far as I know,
the repos-format hasn't really changed all that much between the versions.

Oh, and of course there is now again automatic deltification. If you did a
lot of commits with 0.33.1 and didn't have automatic deltification set up,
then your repository would grow a lot.
Doing a load does deltification (in any version) so the load itself could
have the effect of reducing repository size considerably, even without
upgrading to the new version. But automatic deltification means that the
size wont grow at a scary pace.

Regards,

Subject: Quartered repository size from 0.33.1 to 0.35.1

Hello!

I've upgraded my svn to 0.35.1 and after converting repositories to
new format their size suddenly became four times less!
It is too great improvement of rep format that I need a confirmation
  that it is it;-)

Best regards,
