After make install, svn client segmentation faults

This is my first time working with svn. I've compiled apr, apr-util,
neon, httpd and svn from source using the appropriate versions on a
linux box (Linux or-portal.qualcomm.com 2.4.20-8smp #1 SMP Thu Mar 13
17:45:54 EST 2003 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux).

When I run the svn client (just -version) from
subversion/clients/cmdline/svn, it runs correctly. After I run make
install and run the installed client, svn -version seg faults. I just
ran the version in subversion/clients/cmdline/.libs/svn and it also seg
faults. This is version 0.35.1 of svn.

I'm thinking this means that I've done something wrong with respect to
libtool. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
