Beta?

The status page reports that Beta(1.0 Stabilization) is available. However,
when I go to the download page to locate the source tar.gz file, I only see
one for 0.35.1. Do I have to checkout the beta version from
http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/branches/1.0-stabilization ?
