BTW, this would be a drastic philosophy change for Subversion:
For the first time, a file at a particular revision
can be a descendant of another file of the SAME revision
instead of the PREVIOUS revision.

I am absolutely sure that this partially-record-the-local-history
approach would open the door to the hell of complexity
both for users to understand and for the implementation,
for the reasons explained in my previous emails.
