changes corupt

I have recently had a repo that is corrupted and will not recover. I
have messed with several ways of trying to recover with svnadmin and
berkley db but always end up with the same error:

svn: Berkeley DB error
svn: Berkeley DB error while opening 'changes' table for filesystem
repo/db:
Invalid argument

I have recently just dumped and restored the database in the upgrade to
0.34 and all was fine(and I still have that dump). I also have all the
log.* files since the creation of the repo. Shouldn't I be able to
re-create the database/repo from those log files and if so how?

I am new to berkeley db but figured this would be a good chance to come
up to speed. If I have to restore from tape I should only lose about 30
commits, which can be restored from the developers box, but will be very
pain staking. Anyone have any suggestions.
