digest authentication

Hello,

I configured my apache server for "Digest" type authentication.

After this, some commands fail, and others work ok.
For example, "add" and "commit" work ok.
But "update" and "checkout" fail.
The "diff" command is very interesting, in that it sometimes works and sometimes fails depending on which revisions you are trying to diff.

Changed back to "Basic" type authentication and all works normally.

Is "Digest" authentication known to work?

I have 2.0.48 of apache and 0.34.0 of subversion.
Server is on Linux. Client is windows xp.
