O.K., we all know that you can safely remove the shm environment files
from a berkeley database with "db_recver -e". I'd venture to guess that
the probability that the data files themselves are portable between
i?86-pc-win32* and i?86-pc-linux* is higher than that the shm dumps are
portable.
