Problems building Subversion on Solaris 2.8

I'm trying to build a Subversion client (not server) on Solaris 2.8 and
running into some problems.

The latest is that the configure fails with the following:

configure: error: no XML parser was found: expat or libxml 2.x required
configure failed for neon

Does anyone know where I can find and compile these for Solaris?

Alternatively, does anyone have a pre-compiled version for Solaris 2.8 that
I can download?
