RE: (13)Permission Denied: Berkley DB Error

Thanks to all for the advice. As it turned out, my repository had become
'wedged' due to the machine running out of memory. The permission errors
were caused by apache running in the wrong user context. The usual recovery
procedure put things back in order.

Thanks again,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

try to 'chown' the whole Berkeley directory to your Apache User
(wwwrun:www). That should do the trick

Betreff: (13)Permission Denied: Berkley DB Error

Hi,

I run svn 0.31 on RedHat9 with access via apache 2.0.47.

In the apache error log I am seeing messages stating the following:
-----
Could not open file system at /home/svn/repos
(13)Permission Denied: Berkley DB Error while opening environment for file
system /home/svn/repos/db:
-----

I found a little info in the archive about this, but nothing about how to
fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan
