Hmm, I don't know everything, but as a big debian user I know how to read
that.
I'd say that apache (and its deps) is not needed for a client.
Furthermore, all the -dev packages should not be needed either (perhaps an
svn-client-ssl-dev should be made?).
And also swig (and its dependencies) should be *suggested* packages.
That should rid you of (at least) the apache, python and ruby packages and
perhaps the openldap ones as well.
I don't know what cyrus, guile and dlcompat do, so I can't comment on those.
