OK, how about I declare "mea culpa", apologize for my comments, and announce that I've
just successfully built a Subversion server from source on Win32!

Now for Subclipse and RapidSVN....

Seconded! Platform discrimination is *not* our goal, though we can't
all have equal expertise in every area (except for Brane).
