Yes, IMVHO I would think so, too. I came to it in an attempt to
reduce the size of the dumpfile while testing my notoriously
corrupting repos. Though it is inescapable to have the JPG and GIF
and PDF files in a website production repos, there might be less to
little need to back them up with dump - usually they change rarely
and can be backed up more effectively by other means. And in
many cases there might not be much need to version these
binaries at all, even if they are replaced over time.
