301 Moved Permanently

Hi,

after having had tons of problems with building apache and subversion
from source (dso support wouldn't work), I did it all again from scratch
with RPMs. Unfortunately, I'm using suse which is far behind in terms of
current rpm releases. So I'm working with svn 0.27 right now.
For the first time, I can see my repos within the browser! YES! GREAT!

From the command-line however, I get the mysterious "301 Moved
Permanently" error. The browser just seems to follow that redirect.. svn
and - above all - subclipse do not.

I can't really see, what causes this redirection, should be some
httpd.conf tweaking?!

btw: subclipse.tigris.org says, "Subclipse 0.8.1 is linked against
Subversion 0.31". Does that mean, it requires a svn-server >= 0.31 or
only that it uses 0.31 client code?!

Thanks for hints!

Thomas
