Note that these are the results for LAN / localhost operation where filesystem, CPU and memory is
the bottleneck. Subversion could easily be slaughtering CVS and P4 over slower network
connections.
 
I'll try to add some results that compare performance over slower network connections, but I'm not
really out to prove that Subversion is slower or faster than CVS / P4. I'm mainly interested in
charting the trendlines of the three version control systems as their datasets increase to find
out how each system scales relative to the others.

Also, alot of the P4 vs SVN comparisons are apples vs oranges, so comparing the results between
them doesn't make sense unless you are familiar with the differences between these two systems.

BTW, because of the nature of this announcement, I cross posted to dev & users, but any discussion
should probably be limited to one list or the other.
