:Have you ever run recovery on this repository while Apache (or any
:other process) was still accessing it?

Not unless there was a rogue process hanging around ( I don't _think_ there
was - we only access via apache ). I've had to run recover on that DB only 3
times, and each time I shut down the Apache and let it stand for about 10
mins. (That seemed like the right level of paranoia)

:I can take a shot at doing this for you. How large is the repos? Is
:the data private? Can I get a URL to a compressed archive of the
:broken repos?

Thank you for the offer, but I think the repos is both too large ( ~2Gb )
and a little too private. I would have liked to rescue that history but
the loss is acceptable. I still like Subversion and we knew the risks going
in :-) (the alternative was to keep SourceSafe)
