UPDATE: Adding the Alias only fixes the "client denied by server configuration" (resulting in 403 forbidden) error. But then checkouts stop working.

So neither way seems to be right. So why does my configuration not work? Why do checkouts correctly go to the repository location in /data/repository whereas PUTs try to access the folder as if it were a subfolder of the DocumentRoot (/data/projects/warrenfalk.com/webroot/repository)?
