Sorry, no planned timeline yet.
But you can use a nightly build if you like. We have one for trunk (with
new features, might not be stable enough for corporate use) and one for
the 1.9.x branch (which is the latest release with all recent bugfixes,
so stable enough).

But something tells me that the 1.9.7 release might come earlier than
