Cannot add unversoned files to changelist?

I just found out about changelists, and they honestly are an eyeopener.
Extremely useful because i always seem to be doing 10 things at once.

However when i try to move unversioned files to a changelist there seem to
be some internal Tortoise errors going on. Only after i explicitly add them
does it work.
