Install rather demanding on killing other applications

I installed 1.9.5 64-bit today over 1.9.1. It said "following applications are using files that need to be updated by this setup" (see screen clip) despite no application running according to task manager and just having rebooted and having turned off Fsecure. It then told me the PID of Creative Cloud and I killed that using task manager. It then told me the PID of TortoiseSVN status cache and I killed that (surely tortoise can kill it's own processes?). Then the installation went ahead ok. Perhaps I should have clicked the button "Do not close applications"?
