There was a double '/' in the url, caused by typing the url with a final
slash in the "URL" window and then browsing the repository.

The path is resolved correctly but the first letter of the file name is
cropped away.

The path was something like this:

https://dataserver/svn//MyRepository/MyFile
<https://dataserver/svn/MyRepository/MyFile> .txt

instead of

https://dataserver/svn/MyRepository/MyFile.txt (with this path drag and drop
is working as expected).
