Project Monitor and Update All

I've configured five repositories in TortoiseSVN Project Monitor, organised in a one-level folder structure, like:

        Acme/
            Project A
        Foo Inc/
            Project B
            Project C
        ...

Both scheduled checks and "Check Now" button work fine. But the "Update All" always ends up in an "Update Failed!" dialog:

        Skipped
        Skipped
        Skipped
        Error None of the targets are working copies
        Completed!

I don't know if I'm supposed to make a selection first but nothing I've tried works. Am I missing something or it's just a bug?

I'm using TortoiseSVN 1.9.99, Build 27362 - 64 Bit -dev, 2016/07/18 10:48:42 on Windows 10 Pro release 1511. (It's a dev build because spell checker is sluggish in stable versions.)
