TortoiseSVN 1.9.3 bug

Hi - we have been using TortoiseSVN for more than five years and have always appreciated the rock-solid reliability of the product. I upgraded to TortoiseSVN 1.9.3 today and noticed a glaring bug immediately after the upgrade, when I attempted to verify that a couple of my checked out files were still reported as checked out. To verify the file status, I invoked TortoiseSVN > Commit... at the trunk level in Windows Explorer. The Commit dialog seemed to hang and the graphics became erratic, including the OK button which appeared to be pressed. After maybe 20-30 seconds, the blank screen painted only when I moved the mouse over it.
I checked the changelogs for the 1.9.3 release on your website and I see a fix for a "GDI resource leak". This could explain what I'm seeing, or perhaps not.
My client environment is Windows 7 x64.
Things I have done to try to fix it:
* Ran Clean Up on trunk - no reported errors
* Rebooted my machine
NOTE: The commit dialog works without error when invoked from a level lower than trunk. It also seems to work properly when Commit is invoked from Visual Studio at the solution level using VisualSVN (however the solution is at a level below trunk). Our trunk has about 3700 files. The VisualSVN server was updated to the current version as of today.
Following is a link to a brief video, hosted on GoogleDrive, demonstrating the bug.

Please advise whether you think the nightly build includes a fix for this bug and if you think it is safe to install in place of 1.9.3.
