Ignore Ancestry Option

I see that it has been toggled back and forth from checked by default to not checked by default. It seems that the functionality on the merge dialog was changed to remember your setting. Would it be possible to do it on the Switch screen as well? Either change it to remember or give the option in settings to control if it is checked or not checked by default?
