Adding a folder that starts with a dot (.folder) to svn:global-ignores doesn't seem to work?

Hi everyone,

When I add a folder that starts with a dot, .folder, say, to the
svn:global-ignores list, I still get a list of its child elements
(files and subfolders) displayed in the Commit dialogue. Any ideas
why?

Brgrds,

Christian
