Bug: Repobrowser url bar selection / navigation

Repobrowser url bar selection / navigation:
in the repobrowser the url bar, view and 'go to parent folder' have unintuitive interaction.

    1. when I select a folder it immediately adds it to the URL (without changing the view). In the case of an externally included folder, this directory isn't necessarily anywhere near the current view (note this for point 3).

    2. when I hit ok it takes what is currently in the URL as my selection and immediately closes the dialog.

    3. when I hit the 'go to parent' button (to the right of the url bar) the folder the view changes to is the parent of whatever was in the url bar, regardless of what my previous view was (which may differ from the url: see 1). This is unexpected: I would have expected to go to the parent of my current view, regardless of what is currently in the url bar.

If 1 must occur, then I don't think 3 should. Instead, the 'go to parent' button should send you to the parent of the currently viewed folder, regardless of what's in the url bar.

2 isn't necessary for me. the URL could be the path of the current view, selection is indicated by highlighting in the browser and explicit addresses to the selection in the url bar optional.
