RE: Overlays not showing in Windows 7 (all known fixes attempted)

I persevered for most of today on this and i've now got he icon overlays showing. It worked back to being the number declared in the registry. A smartSVN install led me to look again as it thought there were 27 listed. What I don't know yet is how they reappear and were not visible in the registry editor throughout this afternoon.

Anyway, for now it is fixed. 3 spaces added to the tortoiseSVN icon folder names has got it working. This is a very frustrating issue with windows though, I think it renders tortoise SVN largely unusable when the icons dissapear.

Perhaps they could have Tortoise SVN check and notify the user if the number of declared overlays has exceeded or reprioritized on startup/daily. Just like smartSVN does on install?
