Trouble with repo browser splitter distance

from my inbox so I don't know how to reply to it directly):

Stefan's patch seems to have fixed the problem for some repos, but I can
still reproduce it occasionally using 1.8.11 (64-bit). As you can see in
the attached screenshots, the splitter position has moved after I opened
the repo browser two times in succession.

I'm guessing that the problem still exists whenever the repository is so
large that the left pane in the repo browser requires a vertical
scrollbar. That is the only reasonable difference I can think of between
the repo used in my first message (the Notepad++ public repo) and the
repo I used in this message (a large, private repo at my job).
