How are you accessing the repository? Do you have shell access to the
server?

The first thing I would do is verify the repository. The server should have
the command line tools installed in it:

svnadmin verify <path to repository>

This will validate the contents of the server. If this is corrupt you might
be able to repair it. That question would probably get more response on the
subversion user email list.
