That is not an issue of icon compatibility:

The number of icon overlay handlers is limited to 15 icons(*).

The "OneDrive" integration in Windows 10 already consumes some of these
slots; and if you have also installed DropBox and OwnCloud client, all
available overlay icon slots are fully used; no space left for
TortoiseSVN icon overlays.

All is controlled in Windows Registry by the alphabetical(!) order of
OverlayHandlers under

> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers

The OneDrive entries start with an space/blank character, so they are
loaded first. You can workaround this problem by changing some of these
overlay icons to a name starting with "X" or "Z".
