That doesn't make any sense at all.
TSVN always requires admin privileges, no matter which version you're
installing. Because without admin privileges the shell extension could
not be registered and therefore TSVN wouldn't work.

So there's something wrong on your side if you can install 1.8.5 but not
1.8.8. Or you had admin privileges when you installed 1.8.5 but now you
don't anymore.
