SVN does not have an "automatic update" setting, and it probably never will.

Updating your working copy is not a safe operation that can always be done
automatically. There is potential that any update operation will require a
user-guided manual merge of conflicting changes within modified files.

What problem do you think you'd solve by using such a setting? Perhaps
there is a better way to solve it.
