Have you considered using svn:externals to create a working copy by pulling together tags, or even just particular revisions of trunk or branches?

We now had the idea to pull several files into one 'change_1234' folder to commit these to the trunk later.
We tried including the files by setting a svn:externals definition in the 'change_1234' folder, but had a problem:
When we changed the original file the changes are automatically apllied to the corresponding file int the 'change_1234' folder , and vice versa.
We ratehr want to merge changes into the "original" files at a time of our choice, so changes should go into the build version triggered manually.
