Simon,
After tried many different version, we find out that 1.6.16 is more compatible for our project, so all engineers in our project are using it. If we update the SVN version, that means we have to deal with many new problems which might happen on hundreds of engineers.
Well, 1.6.16 is a very old version, it is not realistic for you guys to change the behavior of it for us. So I was thinking, maybe I can find out what is happening when I am committing or updating, then I can solve the problem by setting the file format of *.unity file or some other working around. Can you give me some hints? Which factor takes the most time?
Thanks, Chao

1.6.16 was released in June 2011 - over three years ago. I think it may be time to update.
Simon
