Suspected memory leak in Tortoise 1.8.8 build 25755

Hello

Since upgrading to Tortoise 1.8.8 build 25755, I am unable to commit
multiple projects at the same time. I am using Visual Studio 2013 under
Window 7 Home Premium, 64 bit - both fully patched.

I click on a project folder in Windows Explorer, then right-click on a
second one. (The two projects contain related changes that I would like
to commit on the same revision. I have done this successfully on several
ocassions before the last upgrade.) Then select SVN Commit from the
Explorer context menu. The TortoiseSVN Commit dialogue appears, with a
'Please Wait' message. The whole system freezes at this point.

Repeating the attempt with Task Manager open, I see that the memory
usage of TortoiseProc.exe grows steadily up to about 6.3 GB (the machine
has 8 GB). Nothing much works until I kill the TortoiseProc.exe process.

Of course there is a work-around - I can simply commit each project
individually. This works as usual.

I would be grateful if this could be investigated.

Regards Peter Walker
