TortoiseMerge support for TAB/Whitespace conversion

Hello

I use TortoiseMerge, and our software stores any TAB as 4 space
characters 0x20 0x20 0x20 0x20 in the file.

Currently TortoiseMerge doesn't support saving TABs as 4 space
characters. Would it be possible to add that feature please?

I access the settings by selecting Tools->Settings, General.

When I need to manually edit merged changes, often TABs creep back in to files.

Also it would be very useful to have the option to "Force line
endings" of files being merged to either LF (unix) or CRLF (Windows)
format.
