First, I would like to thank everyone who works on Tortoise. I am a very happy customer and have been for about 8 years. I have found Tortoise to be an excellent and indispensable tool. This is the first time I have seen a bug that I thought was important enough to report.
Here at work I am using Tortoise version:
TortoiseSVN 1.8.7, Build 25475 - 64 Bit , 2014/05/05 20:52:12
I checked in several times on Saturday 2014-07-05 to a branch called "/branches/Alan" from my home computer using the previous version of Tortoise:
TortoiseSVN 1.8.6, Build 25419 - 64 Bit , 2014/04/12 11:40:48
This is my normal development branch and I do this all the time. Now, at my work computer, when I select Show Log for "/branches/Alan" I do not see the 2014-07-05 commits, but I do see the commits before and after those. I expected to see all the "/branches/Alan" commits. When I select Show Log for "/branches" or for the entire repository, I see all the commits. When I select Show Log for anything at or below "/branches/Alan" I do not see the 2014-07-05 commits.
The commits were actually there, and when I did an update on my work computer I got them. The problem seems to be with the log display.
Thank you very much for your consideration, and for a great piece of software.
Alan
