Checksum mismatch

Hi,

We are using TortoiseSVN v.1.8.7 on Win7/XP and have started getting checksum mismatch on svn update.

"Checksum mismatch for
 'C:\SVN\<random file>'

  expected: <md5 checksum>
  recorded: <md5 checksum>
Try a 'Cleanup'. If that doesn't work you need to do a fresh checkout.

I have got reports from multiple users over a period of 2-3 weeks where this issue occurs.

Cleanup does not work, but a fresh checkout helps for a while until this issue happens again.

Our investigation shows that for the referred file the previous update did not get the last changes for this file. No trace of the last changes in the wc.db database or the pristine directory. The revision number for the whole working copy is updated though.

Anyone else seen this issue?

Could it be that the wc.db file is locked by another process during the update without getting any errors or warnings about this?

Thanks

BR,
Oeyvind Krosby
