This feature sounds cool! So, I tried it out by enabling that setting
in the Settings->Advanced dialog.

Enabling this setting doesn't seem to have any effect, even after
deleting the log cache.

Maybe it is because somehow some trunk merge tracking info got added
to trunk itself in the past, so now my branch has specific merge
history from trunk? Even so, I would expect revisions equal to or
prior to the copy point to be grayed out, unless I am misunderstanding
the feature described.

Attached is what I see, in the revision graph accessed from the
working copy (my working copy is pointing to "test" branch) and in the
log dialog accessed from the "merge" dialog, with trunk entered as the
"from" URL.
