I recently tried with the new stable version 1.8.5 and apparently Tortoise
SVN is working again together with Kerberos (GSSAPI) authentication. As
there was no indication for a Kerberos related fix in the Changelog I
guess, the problem got fixed by linking Tortoise SVN against a newer
improved serf library.
