Show log dialog automatically closed

Every time one of our users opens the "Show log" window in TortoiseSVN but immediately after that, this window is closed. The user does nothing to do that, and there was no setting or anything changed after installation.
He has (as all others) installed TortoiseSVN 1.7.13, Build 24257 - 32 Bit (due to Windows 7 32 Bit installation). His computer is the only one where we have this noticed.
What can we do to "debug" the situation? Is there anything to switch on logging or tracing, so we are able to see why the log dialog is immediately closed? Any tip would be helpful here ...
